About the Opportunity

The fundraising director position has been vacant on our board for several years. A new director has recently stepped into that position and we are currently working on a more fomalized approach in donor and sponsor development.

We're preparing to launch a fundraising and sponsorship campaign and would like a volunteer with fundraising/development experience to review our materials (sponsorship deck and fundraising one-pager — we'll share these once matched) and give us a professional gut-check ahead of our call. In the session, we'd like to walk through their top concerns or gaps, get their read on whether we're ready to launch, and leave with 2–3 priority fixes and a simple go/no-go checklist we can use ourselves going forward.

I am looking for a review of our current fund raising materials, comments on gaps, suggested list of what a standard grant/donor package would consist of and any recommendations on our outreach approach.

You will work directly with our Fundraising Director to review materials and discuss findings. This project is vital to our mission, as securing these sponsorships will provide the necessary funding to continue bringing free music to the community.

We have already developed some communication pieces including impact letter and executive summary along with an opportunity matrix matching potential companies on a variety of variables.
