About the Opportunity

Our 9-member volunteer board currently relies on a single shared Gmail account from 2015 for organizational logins and communications, which creates data security risks and operational confusion. We have access to Google Workspace for Nonprofits, but adoption stalled because managing a second inbox creates too much friction for our volunteers.
During this 60-minute session, we want to discuss:

Technical Validation: Review our proposed backend solution (utilizing Google Groups, "Send As" aliases, and email auto-forwarding) to ensure it is the most effective way for board members to securely operate from their personal inboxes.

Risk Framing: Help us outline the objective data security and compliance risks of our current shared-password model so we can present a compelling case to the board.

Change Management: Provide advice on pitching this backend transition to volunteers who are highly resistant to changing their established workflows.

Our goal is to leave the session with expert validation of our technical approach and 2-3 strong talking points to secure board approval

Organization Mission

EACAG exists to strengthen and serve the Eritrean community of Georgia across three enduring commitments: A United Community — Building a harmonious, prosperous community where members support one another and renew the mutual respect inherited from our forefathers; Culture & Youth — Enabling our youth to learn their language and culture, stay connected to their roots, and grow close to one another; Support for New Arrivals — Helping new immigrants access the social and economic resources available to them, and supporting families through life’s challenges.
