Introduction to Grant Writing

The non-profit is an idea I have to create an after-school space for kids through activities, tutoring, homework help, and so on. I would like to know if there are grants to help me get started, such as for fundraising, location, supplies, and other resources.

Organization Mission

The Corporation is organized and will be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”). The Corporation’s mission is to promote children's educational development and academic success by providing accessible educational programs, tutoring, mentoring, learning resources, and enrichment activities. The Corporation seeks to support children in developing essential academic, social, and life skills and to expand access to quality educational opportunities, particularly for children and families who may face barriers to educational resources.
