Funder Relationship Building Guidance

We need a volunteer to advise on how to approach funders whose missions align with ours but who do not accept uninvited proposals; to review the pitch email we have already composed; and to help us develop a practical, step-by-step relationship-building plan intended to lead to an invitation to submit a proposal. We want to leave with a clear pitch email, a prioritized outreach sequence, and concrete next steps we can implement.

Organization Mission

To educate, train, and mobilize nonpartisan election scrutineers to ensure all voters can vote, and all votes are counted accurately, in order to increase voter confidence and achieve and sustain a thriving democracy in the United States.
