Taproot Convenes Companies to Explore Pro Bono as a Talent Development Strategy

Lindsay Firestone talent developmentIn a 2013 survey conducted by Manpower Group, 54% of employers reported that their talent gap is making it harder for their companies to meet client needs*. Exacerbating the growing talent gap is the worrying statistic that 67% of American employees today feel disengaged at work**.

A solution to these challenges arose from a unique meeting between corporate leaders in Talent Development and Corporate Social Responsibility. Taproot Foundation, in partnership with HP, Adobe, and eBay, convened Fortune 500 companies to discuss the intersection of employee talent development and social impact.

This event was just one of many corporate convenings around the country dedicated to pro bono as a talent development strategy.
