Taproot’s Pro Bono Blog-Athon

a group of people writing blogs
Jul 30th, 2012 All

With an ample supply of sugar and caffeine, the Taproot Foundation’s Tribeca office became a heated newsroom to rival the New York Times on Saturday. Ideas were flying as the sound of typing overpowered the soundtrack to Rocky playing in the background.

Blog-Athon

A group of Taproot roots (employees), former roots, graduate school fellows, veteran pro bono consultants and nonprofit clients met at 9 am on Saturday to participate in our first Pro Bono Blog-Athon. Our goal, convert all best content from the last 10 years into blogs for our site and partner sites.

The impact? It is hard to measure. The countless blogs written. The nonprofits inspired and trained to use pro bono after reading them. Their boosted capacity to serve. All the people better served by those nonprofits as a result.

It may just be that the Taproot Foundation Blog-Athon changed the course of our nation’s history. Only time will tell.

Miss this chance to change history? Stay tuned for the next Blog-Athon and take advantage of the opportunity!
