Right now, nonprofits are holding up more of the world than they ever have before. And the crazy thing? They’re doing it better than ever. Even as they’re being asked to do more with less. Even as the funding environment shifts under their feet. Even as technology breakthroughs rewrite the rules. But it’s not easy, and they can’t do it alone.
As a nonprofit ourselves, Taproot knows this as well as anyone. In this unique moment, we’ve been asking ourselves: As a nonprofit community, how do we react? Is it just about keeping our balance? Weathering the storm? Waiting to see how everything plays out before making the next move?
We don’t think so.
We believe it’s a time to be bold. We believe that the way you talk about the future helps shape it. We believe that part of the strange, slightly off-balance feeling that’s stirring in nonprofit leaders—not all of it, but part of it—is actually…possibility.
We’re choosing this moment to change the way Taproot shows up in the world because nonprofits have never been more important to shaping our collective futures.
I see every day that nonprofits aren’t just essential—they’re incredible. Taproot connects their vision and dedication to the energy and experience they need. We’re building the next generation of pro bono service, one where nonprofits don’t view it as an occasional boost, but as a reliable resource they can count on.
Our new logo was designed to embody the impact we ignite when two powerful forces, nonprofits and pro bono consultants, unite.
The words “Power what’s possible” are a call to arms. It’s not a time to stand still. It’s a time to imagine the impact we can have as nonprofits when we have the people and the spirit of ambition that we need.
This work means so much to me, and I’m so proud not only to support nonprofits, but to be part of one. Like everyone who has chosen this path, I’ve seen lives changed, people lifted up, the surge of confidence that comes when you know you’re doing something you believe in. And, I’ve seen the headwinds and the frustrating moments when the next step seems a little blurry.
With all the opportunities and challenges swirling around us, the Taproot team hopes that when you come across our new logo it will remind you that now is not a time to hold back. It’s a time to double down on the work you’re doing to advance life-changing missions.
We’ve already shown the world how vital nonprofits are. Now, let’s show the world what else is possible.
