We are a small, entirely volunteer-run nonprofit developing our first merchandise collection to raise awareness, build community, and generate additional support. We want a professional, stylish T‑shirt centered on the phrase "Empathy Is a Superpower." Although we have explored several concepts internally, we have struggled to achieve the modern, minimalist, typography-driven aesthetic we envision. We need a designer who can translate our existing concept into a commercially appealing apparel design that reads like an independent clothing brand rather than typical nonprofit promotional merchandise. The slogan should be the focal point, with Luena Foundation branding incorporated subtly. We prefer to avoid playful fonts, cliché superhero imagery, and overtly promotional looks.

We are looking for a volunteer with graphic design expertise in apparel design, typography, and merchandise branding to lead the creative work for this T‑shirt.

The volunteer will:
- Review our existing concepts, brand materials, and creative references and provide consolidated feedback and notes.
- Develop two distinct design directions for the "Empathy Is a Superpower" T‑shirt, each provided as apparel mockups that show placement, scale, and color options.
- Refine one selected concept based on our feedback and deliver an updated mockup ready for approval.
- Recommend appropriate fonts, typography treatments, placement, sizing, and color combinations for production.
- Prepare final, print-ready artwork compatible with Bonfire, our print-on-demand provider.
