We will host our 2nd Annual Fragile Wings Fierce Hearts Gala on February 6, 2027 and will have event footage captured by a separate volunteer videographer. We need someone to turn that footage into a suite of edited videos that capture the evening’s emotion, highlight speakers and EB families, and support website, social, and fundraising promotion. We hope to have a quick turnaround on a recap piece and a set of short-form assets to use for ongoing promotion and donor engagement.

For context on the event and the mission behind it: Fragile Wings Fierce Hearts was founded with a simple but powerful belief: we can make a difference in the lives of those living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and we will strive to find a cure. What began as a quiet dream shared by an EB mom among friends has grown into a mission driven movement united by compassion, determination, and hope. Today, Fragile Wings Fierce Hearts brings together families, friends, partners, and supporters who are committed to funding critical research and standing alongside the EB community. Every dollar raised through Fragile Wings Fierce Hearts is donated directly to EB Research Partnership (EBRP), the leading organization accelerating treatments and driving progress toward a cure.

We are looking for a volunteer with Video Editing & Social Media/Content Creation expertise to edit event footage into a recap and short-form assets we can use across digital channels. The volunteer will:
- Produce one gala recap video (up to 3 minutes) that highlights the evening’s most memorable and emotional moments; ideally deliver this edited recap within one week of the event.
- Create approximately eight short-form videos (15–60 seconds each) featuring key themes and moments such as speakers and EB families for use on social media and in promotional campaigns.
- Export and deliver each video formatted appropriately for Reels, Stories, our website, and other digital platforms (aspect ratios and lengths suitable for each channel).
- Coordinate handoff logistics for final files and any requested revisions, delivering the remaining edited content within one month of the event depending on volunteer availability.

Organization Mission

EB Research Partnership was founded in 2010 by a group of parents set out to save their children’s lives along with Jill and Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) with one bold audacious goal: cure the devastating and life-threatening genetic rare skin disease epidermolysis bullosa (EB) by 2030 and in the process pioneer an innovative business model to lead the way for 10,000 rare diseases that affect 400 million people.
