Scars Like Wings Foundation is seeking support to establish a cohesive visual brand identity that can be used consistently across our communications and organizational materials.

We have an existing logo but need a unified branding system that brings our visual identity together. We want to establish consistent colors, typography, imagery, and design elements that reflect the warm, hopeful, and compassionate tone of our organization and resonate with survivors, supporters, and community partners.

A key challenge is ensuring that our branding is not only visually cohesive but also practical and accessible for our team to use independently. We need a clear system that can be applied across our website, emails, letters, documents, social media, signage, and other materials without requiring professional design support for every update.

We also want to ensure that our branding can be effectively implemented by a website developer during a future website revamp. This requires clear visual guidelines, specifications, and accessible brand assets that can be shared with both technical and nontechnical users.

We are seeking a pro bono branding professional to help us build a consistent, sustainable visual identity using our existing materials as a starting point.

By the end of this project, Scars Like Wings Foundation seeks a cohesive visual brand identity and practical toolkit that our team can maintain independently and share with external professionals.

Key Deliverables:

Visual Identity: Review our existing logo and develop a cohesive branding system, including logo refinements or variations as appropriate.
Color Palette: Establish coordinated colors with HEX codes for digital and print materials.
Typography Guide: Recommend fonts and guidelines for headings, body text, and other applications.
Imagery Direction: Provide guidance on photography and visual elements that reflect a warm, hopeful, and compassionate identity.
Canva Brand Kit: Organize brand assets for easy, consistent use by our team.
Website Guidelines: Provide specifications and assets a web developer can use to implement the branding during a future website revamp.
Templates: Create reusable templates for emails, letters, documents, social media, and signage.
Brand Guidelines: Compile brand standards, asset usage instructions, color codes, typography, imagery direction, and templates into a comprehensive reference document.

Success Measures: Our foundation has a consistent, recognizable visual identity, accessible brand assets, and reusable templates for communications across platforms. Our team can apply the branding independently, and a web developer can implement it consistently without recreating the brand from scratch.
