Project Management Assistance

The EQuip Our Kids! Campaign is a nonprofit advertising and marketing education campaign whose mission is to galvanize the American public to include in every school's basic daily curriculum emotional intelligence education for students and staff, including in emotional management and in relationship and co-creativity social skills – to the demonstrated remarkable benefit of children, teens, adults, schools, communities, and business (the economy) as a whole. In education circles, this curriculum is best known as Social and Emotional Learning (SEL).

We seek two different project managers. We have launched a strong initiative to gain corporate support for social emotional learning and we need a experienced project manager to track those efforts and relate to the team members and outside advisors who are assisting; also to the assistants at companies. Ideally but not necessarily you would be someone experienced in dealing with major companies, Our major push will occur over 60 to 90 days to arrange discovery meetings and follow ups of various nature that you would project manage.

The second project manager would work with our outside team of marketing skill providers, AI developers and coordinate their activities with each other so that our production and marketing materials are on time and our follow up is solid. and with EQuip leadership.

Our belief is you will be helping the most important education reform AND social movement of our time because of its potential to transform on a mass level human mindsets and behaviors that create so much pain, suffering, and conflict in the world, individually and collectively. COVIDs made this learning even more imperative, in online teaching and classrooms, as masses of children experienced emotional and mental health issues that SEL can help relieve. Recent federal cutbacks to SEL funding make it more urgent for us to develop business support for SEl and to increase our marketing efforts as well to the public. Schools with comprehensive SEL see a sustained improvement in grades, attendance, student happiness, and emotional well-being in and out of school. These schools also see sustained decreases in violence, bullying, students experiencing depression and anxiety, suicides, dropout rates, and drug/alcohol use. So does society as these students grow into adulthood.

We have built a marketing campaign to engage major companies as marketing allies and sponsors around this cause, just as companies came together to promote STEM learning some years ago. You will be working with experienced and sophisticated media and marketing professionals with media kits customized to individual companies.
