Research 20 Grant/Funding Prospects
As a small rural community-based nonprofit organisation, we are kindly looking up for a volunteer to help us identify up to 20 grant or funding opportunities that our team can apply for in the coming months. These funding opportunities will support the programs that our organisation intends to implement for underprivileged children and women in Maanyi Sub-county, Mityana District in Uganda.
Our organization Kabira Community Development and Child support Organisation is a rural community based organisation (CBO), was founded in January 2015 for people with disability and those that live with HIV/AIDS . It is legally and fully registered with the local government authority under registration number MAA/90/2015. The purpose of the organisation is to assist poor communities more especially people with disability overcome poverty thus improving the welfare of underprivileged children. And to date, our organisation has supported and reached out to disabled people, orphaned and HIV/AIDS infected children, and HIV/AIDS positive women within the rural communities of Maanyi sub-county in Mityana district, Uganda. The organization implements activities like health, social-economic empowerment, human and child rights, education, food security, and nutrition. Our board consists of unpaid members and the organization entirely depend on volunteers.
Our organisation has a project focal person for the volunteers to communicate with. Once this project is completed, our team will be able to prepare and submit grant proposals in the coming months.
