My goal for this Project is to create better systems for managing our two biggest programs. We are currently using, and want to continue to use AirTable to manage these programs, but we need an assessment of our current databases which need streamlining and new functions added.

The volunteer will support our mission of fighting period poverty by helping us improve our systems that: 1. manage our menstrual product donation program (inventory and agency partner data) and 2. manage our menstrual education program. We are on track to educate 600 young people in our workshops this year and we need improvements on how we track potential school partners, manage our materials lists, track surveys, etc.
We see a direct impact on the people we serve and we are working to create systemic change as well. (And it's working!)

My team and I have prepared for this project by creating a workable system already... but we effectively "built the plane while we were flying it!" Now that we have grown a bit, we would like someone with more expertise to evaluate what we have and make improvements. We have a clearer understanding of what we need and what we no longer need. And we are looking for someone to help update and design a system that will take us into the future.

Menstrual health is a matter of basic health. And human dignity. We are dedicated to educating people about the need for safe, readily available period products so that anyone can learn, create and thrive without distraction or limitation posed by a basic, bodily function. We donate ample supplies of period products to food pantries, social services organizations, emergency outreach and community groups. We offer workshops for students that teach menstrual management and advocacy and provide education on best practices in schools and the workplace. We support efforts to de-stigmatize periods and make menstrual products as normalized and readily available as toilet paper. We support anyone in need without regard to gender recognizing that not all who get periods are female, and not all who are female get periods.
