I want to create a clear, structured roadmap for our Generations in Motion program—a flagship initiative of Mothers to Daughters that fosters intergenerational mentorship and leadership between youth and elders. The second program is called Reverse Wisdom Tales, where younger participants also mentor older generations, creating a two-way exchange of knowledge, skills, and perspective.

The project I’d like to complete involves:
Program Design & Structure: Refine the framework of Generations in Motion and Reverse Wisdom Tales, defining goals, outcomes, and participant engagement strategies that celebrate both traditional wisdom and fresh, modern perspectives.
Curriculum & Resource Development: Co-create session outlines, activities, and tools that make the mentorship exchange impactful and sustainable in both directions.
Implementation Plan: Build a timeline and recommended processes for launching and scaling the program, starting with a pilot phase.
Measurement & Impact Tools: Design simple evaluation methods (surveys, metrics, feedback loops) to capture program impact and ensure continuous improvement.
The volunteer’s expertise will be invaluable in ensuring this initiative is not only inspiring in vision but also practical, measurable, and scalable.

With 5 hours per week, we would focus on collaborative working sessions where their program development skills, creativity, and strategic insights will help us transform our vision into a sustainable and replicable initiative.
By joining us on this project, volunteers will help bring Generations in Motion and Reverse Wisdom Tales to life—programs designed to bridge generations through two-way mentorship. Your skills will directly shape how we connect younger and older women to share wisdom, leadership, and fresh perspectives.

This work is central to Mothers to Daughters’ mission of empowering women globally and fostering intergenerational legacies. With your support, we’ll launch a structured, scalable program that gives women the tools to grow, lead, and pay it forward.

Your time and expertise won’t just strengthen our organization—they will ripple outward, touching communities worldwide through every woman who benefits from these connections.
We’re fully prepared to make this project a success. Our leadership and program team are aligned on the vision and committed to implementing the outcomes of this work. We’ve gathered background materials, insights from past pilots, and identified clear points of contact to ensure timely collaboration.

The volunteer’s recommendations will be put directly into action through the launch of Generations in Motion and Reverse Wisdom Tales, which are top priorities for Mothers to Daughters this year. Volunteers can feel confident their contributions will create lasting impact and be carried forward by a dedicated, organized team.

Organization Mission

Mothers to Daughters (M2D) is a for-impact organization dedicated to accelerating women’s economic empowerment through intergenerational mentorship, leadership development, and entrepreneurship. Our work aligns with philanthropy in multiple ways—we actively support marginalized communities, provide scholarships and professional development resources for young women, and advocate for inclusive innovation. Through our programs, we equip young women (18–29) with future-ready skills, ensuring they can navigate evolving industries, including AI-driven transformations. We are deeply invested in fostering equitable access to opportunities, particularly for underrepresented women entering the workforce. M2D also collaborates with philanthropic organizations to fund initiatives that bridge gaps in education, digital literacy, and economic mobility.
