Board Development and Recruitment Support

We’re seeking a volunteer to help develop a board strategy for iHealth, including a board development plan, recruitment strategies, and drafting a board charter. The goal is to establish a strong, functional board that will help guide our work, broaden our professional skills by bringing in new talent and ideas, and establish a sustainable funding source through board contributions.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience in nonprofit governance, board development, or strategic planning
- Familiarity with board recruitment, charters, and bylaws
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership
- Comfortable collaborating remotely and attending scheduled check-ins
- Prior experience helping build or strengthen nonprofit boards is preferred

- Applicants must have the required skills and commit 4+ hours/week.

- I’ve reserved Wednesdays from 6–7 PM ET for Taproot meetings. Please keep this time block in mind when proposing additional meeting times. No-shows without prior notice will not be rescheduled.

We’ll provide current board documents, member insights, and leadership guidance, with regular check-ins to ensure alignment and progress.
