We are launching our 2025 Giving Tuesday campaign, “Discover Their Path,” to raise $10,000+ and collect 300+ toys in support of our high school programs that help youth explore careers, gain real-world experience, and prepare for life after high school. We're looking for a skilled graphic designer to help us create a cohesive set of campaign visuals across social media, email, web, and print.

The volunteer will help us design a campaign lockup, Giving Tuesday match badge, impact icons, and themed visuals that bring student stories to life. We’re also hoping to create eye-catching social media templates, email headers, flyers, signage for our in-person holiday event, and (if possible) a short animated :15–:30 second video reel. We’ll provide campaign messaging, photos, student quotes, and brand assets. Our team will handle content writing, social posting, and strategy — we just need a design partner to make the campaign visually compelling and aligned with our brand.

This work will allow us to effectively tell student stories, attract new donors, and deepen support from our community during this crucial fundraising moment.
You Matter 2 empowers youth in Chicago’s South Suburbs to become confident leaders, changemakers, and career-ready adults. Through programs like Discover U and the NextGEN Summer Internship, we help high school students explore career paths, gain professional experience, and develop the skills they need to thrive after graduation.

This Giving Tuesday campaign — Discover Their Path — is our most important year-end fundraising initiative. With your help designing a visually compelling campaign, we’ll reach more donors, raise critical funds, and share the transformational stories of students whose lives are being shaped by these opportunities.

Your creative work will directly support students like Deenah, who found her voice through our programs and is now preparing for a future of impact. By helping us visually communicate our message, your design talents will open doors to internships, mentorship, and purpose-driven growth for South Suburban teens. Together, we can show the community what’s possible when youth are given the chance to discover their path.
We’ve already laid the groundwork to ensure this project runs smoothly and respectfully values the volunteer’s time. Our campaign concept, core messaging, fundraising goals, and timeline are fully developed and approved internally. We've built a detailed task plan in Asana, have student stories and photos ready (with consent), and can quickly provide our brand kit, sponsor logos, and any written content the designer needs.

This campaign is a high priority for our year-end fundraising, and we’re fully committed to implementing the designer’s work across our digital platforms, printed materials, and live event. Our Founder & CEO will serve as the main point of contact, providing prompt feedback (within 24–48 hours), organized file sharing, and clear deadlines. We’re also experienced Taproot partners and have successfully completed multiple projects in the past — including marketing, branding, and strategic planning — with strong follow-through and appreciation for pro bono talent.

By giving this campaign a cohesive, professional look, we’ll be able to better engage our community, inspire donations, and expand support for the youth we serve. Your designs will make a real and immediate impact.
