Our organization needs your help becoming more data-driven! We are looking for a volunteer who can audit our current data-intake sources and practices and deliver recommendations for optimizing our efforts.

This pro bono work will ideally be a donation of 2-5 hours per week for one month. Tasks may include:
-Auditing our nonprofit's existing data collection sources, including surveys, web or social media analytics, email stats, program intake forms, stakeholder feedback, focus groups, and more.
-Assessing the current use of data collection tools using a simple traffic-light approach (red: action needed, yellow: proceed with caution, green: performing well).
-Researching alternative evaluation or data collection tools our nonprofit could adopt.
-Presenting recommendations for how to optimize our data collection moving forward.
The Dinner Table Doc equips girls and young women to confidently define, develop, and own their voices. As our programs expand, optimizing our data collection practices will help us measure impact more accurately and tell a clearer story about the growth and success of the girls we serve.

This project will strengthen how we track engagement, participation, and long-term outcomes—ensuring that every workshop, mentorship, and milestone is connected to real, measurable progress. By improving our systems, you’ll help us make more informed decisions, strengthen funding opportunities, and deepen our ability to support girls as they build their confidence, leadership, and dreams for the future.
Our organization is committed to becoming more effective and efficient by leaning on data. We need to ensure we're collecting the right information and using it in the right ways. We have identified a member of our team to be your point person on this project. We have leadership buy-in for this important work. Our team has also created a list of all current data collection methods that we are ready to share with the volunteer.
