We are seeking a partner to audit our outward-facing communications and develop a strategic plan that aligns with our new website and organizational priorities. As a grassroots organization, we have a strong foundation: our Constant Contact newsletter boasts excellent engagement rates. However, our social media presence underperforms significantly. This is our opportunity to strategically strengthen newsletter engagement and refocus social media efforts where they'll have maximum impact.

Project Goals:
● Assess current performance of our Constant Contact and Facebook accounts across key metrics: engagement, reach, and audience growth
● Identify what's working, what's falling flat, and where improvements will best support our organizational goals
● Define audience segments, evaluate platform alignment, and recommend strategies to update and expand our contact list
● Develop data-driven content guidelines, posting schedules, and platform priorities that drive meaningful engagement
● Establish clear, measurable definitions of engagement tailored to our organization's unique mission
● Create an actionable plan with concrete recommendations and next steps for both email and social media

Project Deliverables:
● Comprehensive Action Plan including quantitative and qualitative audit findings, strategic recommendations, and implementation roadmap
This project will amplify our impact through strategic communications that strengthen relationships with local and state partners and community stakeholders. The challenge? Our social media strategies are undocumented, and our platforms - social posts, email newsletters, and website update - operate independently rather than in concert.

We need your expertise to help us build a communications framework that reflects our impact, drives meaningful engagement, and ultimately serves the communities we fight for. This is your chance to shape how an influential coalition reaches and empowers older adults across an entire county
Senior Services Coalition of Alameda County unites 40+ nonprofit and public organizations working together to help over 200,000 older adults thrive. We've recently launched bold initiatives that bridge critical service gaps, connecting elders and caregivers to essential support. Through collaborative partnerships, we've built significant influence locally and throughout the state, and our impact continues to grow.

Thanks to Taproot and an exceptional volunteer, we recently launched a new website that powerfully frames our mission and strategic priorities. We bring substantial assets to this partnership:

● Our small but mighty staff offers deep content knowledge, environmental insight, equity-centered approaches, and the technical skills to maintain our digital presence
● We know our audiences intimately and actively engage them through multiple channels
● We've compiled compelling photos, real community stories, quotes, videos, plus established brand elements (logo, color palette, tagline)
● We're committed to empowering older adults and centering equity, working in true partnership with our member organizations
● Three staff members will collaborate closely with you throughout the project

Once we receive your strategic framework and action plan, our staff will execute recommendations systematically, with member organizations providing feedback and accountability. We'll track metrics quarterly and adjust our approach based on data, ensuring your strategic work translates into sustained communications excellence.
