We are seeking a volunteer to draft a concise governance package for the Board that clarifies governance versus operational roles, documents communication expectations and processes, supplies an agenda-setting template and meeting-prep checklist, reviews decision-making norms, confirms alignment with the Bylaws and officer roles, and summarizes clear recommendations for the full Board.

Stronger governance and clearer meeting processes will let the Board focus on strategic oversight and equitable decision-making, helping Harmony Montessori better support families and expand access to developmentally appropriate Montessori education for children from diverse and income-challenged backgrounds.

We will provide access to the current bylaws and recent meeting agendas and short interviews with board leadership. The board will collaborate with the volunteer to review, refine, and implement the recommendations. Details will be provided during the interview process.
