About the Opportunity

A draft pilot program design for workforce initiatives serving African immigrants and refugees in NYC, including program goals, a target participant profile, partner engagement approach, proposed service components to pilot, an implementation timeline, and an evaluation framework.

This pilot will help AfCoFo strengthen pathways to jobs, training, and employer partnerships for African immigrants and refugees in NYC. Volunteer contributions will support economic mobility, improve program effectiveness, and deepen AfCoFo’s bridge between communities, employers, and public institutions.

Volunteers will collaborate with AfCoFo staff and community partners. AfCoFo will share background materials and make staff or stakeholders available for regular feedback so the volunteer can produce an actionable, locally informed pilot plan.
