About the Opportunity

A set of concise mission and vision statements drafted from the CFDA website as source material. Volunteer will produce 2–3 short options for each statement plus a brief rationale and a recommended final phrasing. Specific CFDA pages and context will be provided during interviews.

Clear mission and vision statements will help AfCoFo more effectively communicate its role as a bridge to workforce development, entrepreneurship, education, and economic mobility for African communities in NYC, strengthening partnerships, program focus, and volunteer engagement.

CFDA links and any organizational context will be provided. The volunteer and AfCoFo staff will agree on timeline and review rounds so drafts can be iterated collaboratively and finalized for use in communications.
