Word Press Developer Needed

Seeking a volunteer WordPress developer to create a secure, role-based document library.

PROJECT DELIVERABLE
Create a secure State Representative Resource Center within HandicappedVets.org where authorized representatives can:
- Sign in with individual accounts.
- Access documents based on their assigned role.
- View and download approved forms, policies, training materials, and operating resources.
- Find materials through clearly organized categories.
- Be added, updated, or removed by an HVA administrator.

The volunteer will also configure appropriate security, backups, and administrator instructions so HVA can manage the resource center after completion.

SKILLS NEEDED
- WordPress development and administration.
- HTML, CSS, and basic PHP.
- WordPress user roles and permissions.
- Secure, role-based document libraries.
- Website security, backups, and mobile-friendly design.

TIME FRAME
The project should be completed within approximately 2-4 weeks. HVA will provide the approved documents, categories, access requirements, and website credentials needed for the work.

This resource center will equip our Kentucky, North Carolina, and Illinois pilot representatives with the materials needed to operate consistent, effective Veteran communities. Their work will help Veterans reconnect, regain camaraderie lost after separation, and build relationships that support HVA’s mission of addressing Veteran suicide.

HVA will provide the website access, approved documents, categories, and user-access requirements. I will work directly with the volunteer, respond promptly, and provide timely decisions and feedback. Our current technical volunteer can assist with hosting access when needed.
