PurePod Foundation is seeking an experienced volunteer brand strategist to help establish a compelling and cohesive brand messaging foundation as we prepare to expand our agricultural education and community growing initiatives.
PurePod Foundation strengthens California's agricultural ecosystem by equipping beginning and small-scale farmers, agricultural producers, and communities with practical education, sustainable growing methods, and technical assistance. Through our Farmer Academy, Community Growing, and Consulting & Technical Assistance programs, we support agricultural development, food security, and long-term community resilience.
As an emerging nonprofit, we recognize the importance of communicating our mission, organizational identity, and unique value with clarity and consistency. We are seeking a strategic communications professional who can translate our vision into a messaging framework that resonates with the diverse communities, agricultural partners, and funding organizations we seek to engage.
The volunteer will collaborate directly with our Founder/CEO to refine our organizational narrative, strengthen our positioning, establish our brand voice, and develop audience-specific messaging.
This is a strategy-focused opportunity designed to produce a comprehensive Brand Messaging Guide that will serve as the foundation for future website content, program materials, fundraising communications, and organizational outreach.
Our visual brand identity is being developed separately. This opportunity focuses exclusively on strategic messaging, brand voice, and communication positioning.
Your expertise will help PurePod establish a recognizable organizational voice, strengthen community connections, and communicate our mission with confidence as we prepare for program expansion.

**2. Brand Voice & Tone Guidelines**
