The Marine Debris Foundation (MDF) is a new, congressionally chartered national NGO. Similar to the National Park Foundation's relationship to the National Park Service, MDF and its federal government countepart, NOAA's Marine Debris Program, form a public-private partnership. MDF needs to access multiple revenue streams, including impact investing. I have led numerous NGOs in the past, but have never worked with impact investors. I am interested in consulting with a volunteer who can advise me on how MDF should think about impact investing, and what infrastructure we need in place to leverage it.
