Grant Writing Advice for Animal Rescue

We’re seeking guidance on grant writing for Dulce Vida Rescue, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in Mexico and the U.S. In this session, we’d love to learn how to identify relevant grant opportunities, get advice on structuring a compelling proposal (including key elements funders look for), and understand how to communicate our impact clearly—even with limited data. We’d also appreciate tips on building a simple grant calendar and tracking system. As a small, volunteer-led team, we’re looking for practical, effective guidance to help us develop a grant writing process that truly supports our mission.
