Revenue Generation Advice

I need advice from volunteers skilled in fundraising, sales, and/or business development to do brainstorming outside the usual funding sources to identify new sources of revenue for our nonprofit. We also need advice on outreach techniques and positioning our asks for donations.

All of the following is free to the youth that we serve: Our nonprofit organization is a baseball and softball academy that serves 6,000 youth from under-resourced neighborhoods throughout Chicago year-round. Our programming takes place on a college campus at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). While baseball and softball are the initial draw, our main focus is on educating and mentoring youth to help them make good choices and prepare for adulthood. We achieve this through college info sessions and campus tours, workplace visits to Fortune 500 companies and construction trade apprentice training sites, umpire and leadership training, as well as over 45 Social Emotional Learning lessons throughout the year.
